An ovariohysterectomy (spaying) is a routine surgical procedure performed on
female cats and dogs. The process involves removing the patient’s uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes, rendering the animal incapable of reproduction.
Spaying offers several benefits, including:
- Prevents unwanted pregnancies
- Eliminates the risk of ovarian and uterine tumors
- Removes the possibility of uterine infections
- Reduces the risk of mammary tumors
- An exam is required prior to scheduling surgery.
For New clients and those we have not seen in 2 years we require an exam and a non-refundable deposit of $95 for this procedure. The deposit will be applied to the bill if the scheduled procedure is completed.
